Ixchel Ministry is a organization that supports families on the path to dis-ease and wholeness. Are you looking for support during your birth continuum journey? Melissa is an Ixchel, which is comprised of years of education, experience and embracing her ancestor's knowledge. She is an ordained minister trained in the art of midwifery, massage & craniosacral therapy, placenta medicine and ceremony. She provides families with home-birth care throughout the birthing continuum, by supporting the mind, body, spirit triad. She has designed comprehensive care that is intertwined with her Mayan lineage wisdom and experiential based knowledge.

Melissa believes her Mayan ancestors and Source are ushering her as she moves through this sacred space we know as the journey to evolution and growth.  She has deep reverence for the body's ability to heal and believes that every body has an inner physician that knows what is needs to heal.  In short, the body knows how to heal because it is wise! In this way, she does not feel she needs to do any more than to facilitate healing and meet all of her client's exactly where they are.
